It was the first holiday season without her dad, and it felt surreal. While driving her dad’s car on Thanksgiving Day, she discovered a familiar leather glove lined with fur inside. Grabbing that glove felt like holding his hand and bringing him into the moment.

Every year the debate rages: When should we start putting up our Christmas tree? Our Christmas decorations?

Our host used to firmly be the in not-before-thanksgiving camp. He was a staunch supporter of waiting until December. But that changed one year.

What caused the change of heart? What caused our host to decide it was ok to start putting up Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving?

With all the destruction caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, we have pushed back our scheduled episode to re-share an experience one of our hosts had after he survived Hurricane Katrina.

Please join us as our host shares one of the darkest periods of his life. He shares how God helped him through the literal storm of Hurricane Katrina and both the emotional and spiritual storms that followed. As he goes into detail about his experience, he shares how God provided him with the strength and the comfort he needed to make it through those storms.

Listen know that there is One out there who is greater than any storm you may encounter, who’s light will pierce through even the darkest of clouds.
